The Clouds have Parted

This is my last commission of 2024, but it was really commissioned in 2023 for my mother's birthday. It depicts a bright sky with clouds parting to the sunset. At first, I meant this painting to depict a Christmas story from the Bible, the shepherds witnessing a precession of angels praising the Lord. However, I decided to follow a different direction as I went on. It has the same sentiment, but it is a different interpretation. It even had a personal connection with the owner, so I'm happy it turned out this way.
